Malapascua

My trip to Malapascua started with a busride early in the morning and about 5 hours later I reached the island. The captain of the boat offered me a room and after that I went on a walk to see the island and ask about the tresher shark dives which was the reason I choose to go to Malapascua, and also of course that I heard that its a beautful island!

Everywhere you can see and hear roosters since "cookfights" is considered a national sport in Philippines. The fights are between two roosters held in a ring with sharp razor blades fixed on their leg, the roosters fight until one of them dies or is critically injured. I never attended one of those fights since I´m far to sensitive to watch the animals get hurt like that.

Went to dinner and ordered a mango daquiri for drink

As soon as I finished my meal I had the company of a cat at the table trying to find some leftovers

I found a diving school and booked the morningdive for the next day to see the tresher sharks. Went to bed for an early night's sleep, excited about the diving. Got up at 4 in the morning to go for the dive but when I was sitting in the boat I suddenly realized that I was wearing my eyeglasses and I didn't have any contact lenses..nothing to do but to take off the glasses to be able to wear the snorkle mask..went down under the water, and yes there was tresher sharks there but unfortunately for me, I wasn't able to see them...! Totally waste of money and very typical for me to do such a stupid thing..

My visit in Malapascua was short and didn't exactly turned out the way I planned but it's a very beautiful island that I'm glad I went to see!
